But it is the afterglow

But it is the afterglow
Inside of you

Of all those you met
Who meant something in your life /From poem by King Olav V of Norway, August 1977

Who will be your afterglow?

For a long time I have felt drained in a way. I blame what I currently fill my days with: work. I need to move on, because what should bring me life takes life away from me. I will need to break away, break free from what tightens the rope around my soul day by day.

Since nothing creative will take fire within me, I'll have to share somebody else's fire. This time around it's A-ha.

Lifelines. Not necessarily my favourite, but it is A-ha as we know them boys. Enjoy the view.

One time to know that it's real
one time to know how it feels
that's all
One call - your voice on the phone
one place - a moment alone
that's all
What do you see?
What do you know?
What are the signs?
What will I do?
Just follow your lifelines through
What if it hurts?
What then?
What do we do?
What do you say?
Don't throw your lifelines away
One time - just once in my life
one time - to know it can happen twice
One shot - of a clear blue sky
one look - I see no reasons why we can't
One chance to go back
to the point where everything starts
One chance to keep it together
when things fall apart
One sign to make us believe it's true
What do you see?
Where do we go?
one sign
How do we grow?
By letting your lifelines show
What if we do?
What now?
What do you say?
How do I know?
Don't let your lifeline go
